Thank you, however @wetherbywhaler beat you to it with a fuller explanation! The bane of my life is shortened titles and in this case hides its stature in world by doing so. I wonder how many of the 13,000 + fans who received the email be in similar ignorance? It is practice in well written grammar to insert the full title then the shortened version in brackets, then you can use the shortened version later in the email, letter or report, and everybody is then fully informed.

I have been over several times for work and some of their salaries are absolutely nuts. A comparable manager in engineering was on at least three maybe four times comparable to UK equivalents even in the same company. Mind you we have what’s left of the NHS.

If they are making the gravel drainage channels at lesser distances apart then that potentially could take water away twice as fast? As you suggest it’s probably the outlet at the junction of these drains where the problem lies?

 

The Federal Minimum wage is still $7.25 an hour as is Tennessee’s. Some states have gone higher. Salaries are not really brilliant for way too many people due to cost of Health Insurance (most of mine is paid by the school but an MRI will still hit me for over $1500 even with insurance.

Yes, but I have lived here 35 years and have visited St Ives on far too many occasions to count. I am fully aware they have specialist in grass growing and development but I had no idea they traded under a different name. My other half knew it under its proper name but still didn’t make the connection. It is known as the St Ives Research Centre.
